Even if your department doesn’t have a deep-rooted culture or strong traditions in place, you can still build it. Tradition isn’t just about fancy ceremonies or the color of the trucks. It’s about how you carry yourself, how you train, how you lead, and how you take care of the guys in the firehouse.
